Erin Marie Kiser

Erin Marie Kiser, Fredonia, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023, at the UPMC Shadyside following a brief illness.  She was 46.

She was born in Greenville, on March 28, 1977, a daughter of Dennis R. and Lelanie R. (Gibbs) Kiser, Sr.  She was employed as a medical technician at the Lakes at Jefferson, Mercer and was serving as the elected tax collector for Fredonia Borough.  Erin was an active citizen of Fredonia, having previously served on the borough council.  She was a 1995 graduate of Reynolds High School.  She was a member of the Hillside Presbyterian Church, Greenville.

Erin is survived by her father, Dennis R. Kiser, Sr., Fredonia; two sisters, Jennifer Lynn Kiser, Fredonia, and Stephanie Kiser, Pittsburgh; 5 nieces that Erin helped to raise following the death of her brother, Dennis, Brooke (Tyler) Stull, Fredonia, Abigail Kiser, Greenville, Mickala Kiser, Fredonia, Annie Kiser, Fredonia, and Iva Kiser, Fredonia.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother Dennis R. “Cub” Kiser, Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 11:30 am at the Hillside Presbyterian Church, 2 North High Street, Greenville with Pastor Sean Hall officiating. She will be laid to rest at the St. Hippolyte Cemetery,  

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 169 Second Street, Fredonia.
