Emma I. (Snyder) Stuck

Emma I. Stuck, of Fredonia Road, Greenville, passed away at her home Monday, March 27, 2023. She was 90.

She was born in Kennerdell, PA on March 16, 1933, to the late Russell Cole and Bernice Irene (Mays) Snyder. On January 8, 1951, she married Bertram E. Stuck, who preceded her in death in 2017, having been married for 66 years.  

Emma worked for the Sanitary Market of Greenville and later she worked at Golden Dawn, which became Sparkle Market, as a cashier. She also owned two businesses with her husband, Dairy Doodle Restaurant and Food Trailer for the local auctioneers as well as Covered Bridge Auto Salon in Transfer.

Emma belonged to the Cross Road Christian Fellowship of Greenville. She was very giving, and her goal was to help everyone. She will be dearly missed.  

She is survived by her daughter, Terri Hernandez and husband Tom of Florida;  nine grandchildren, Jenny Lynn DeGuitis, Rebecca Greenwood and husband Wade, Theresa Granger and husband Jeff, Douglas Stuck II and wife Linda, Tim Ault and wife Jamie, Dean Ault and wife Maladie, Terra Gaffga and husband Scott, and Taylor Hernandez; 13 great grandchildren and three great-great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister, Clara L. Perkins; three brothers, Garrett Snyder, John Snyder and James Mays; three children, Linda, Vickie and Douglas, and a grandson, David Fedorczyk.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 2 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 169 Second St. Fredonia, PA, 16124 with Matthew Courtney officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00-7:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Millbank Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family online at www.snyderfh.com.
