Douglas Dale Dick, Jamestown, (Greene Twp.) passed away on Friday afternoon, December 15, 2023. He was 63.
Doug was born in Greenville on September 8, 1960, a son of Dale Owen and Nancy Carol (West) Dick. He graduated from Greenville High School and then went on to enlist in the US Air Force where he had served honorably. In his later years, Dale kept occupied being a handyman doing various odd jobs and in his early years, he had been employed at the Linesville Radio Station. Throughout the many years, he faithfully was a blood donor at the local blood banks.
He is survived by his father, Dale Owen Dick, Greenville; his mother, Nancy Carol Dulaney and her companion, Don Novak. Beloit, OH; a sister, Karen Heath, and her companion, Dan Dibble, Greenville and his brother, David (Ingred) Dick, Virginia Beach, VA. three nieces and nephews, Jeremy Heath, Greenville, Caelan Dick, Washington, D.C. and Karina Dick, Ireland.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Stephen Douglas Dick.
The family will be privately honoring the life of Doug with no services scheduled.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
