Donald M. Lambert, of Greenville, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024 at UPMC Horizon. He was 89.
Donald was born in Benezette, PA on December 10, 1934, a son of the late Susan (Clark) and Berkie Duncan Lambert. On June 9, 1956, he married the former Faye Lynn Hancock, who survives at home.
He worked for the Sharon Herald from the time he was a teenager, and went on to work for and retire from Reznor Heating in Mercer. After his retirement he worked with Adesa Auto Auction.
Donald was a member of the Church of God Worldwide Association in Youngstown. He enjoyed reading as well as maintenance and tinkering around the house.
He is survived by his wife; his children, Roger Lambert of Greenville and Craig (Jenny) Lambert of Rocky Grove; a sister, Esther Schreffler of Florida; four grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dr. Bob Lambert; a sister, Feffie Lambert; and a daughter, Debra Madison.
A Memorial service will be held May 19, 2024 at The Remnant Church of God, 274 Steckler Road Stoneboro, PA. at 4:00 PM Memories and condolences can be shared with the family online at www.snyderfh.com.
