Diana Mayes-Britton, Greenville passed away unexpectedly as the result of injuries sustained in a fire in her home on Friday, March 31, 2023. She was 35.
Diana was born in Greenville, on June 19, 1987, a daughter of George “Terry” Haynes and Charlene Mayes. She married Timothy Britton on April 28, 2014.
Diana was a 2005 graduate of Jamestown High School and attended Westford United Methodist Church. She was self-employed with her business, Bright Side Hobbies. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and taking annual summer trips with her children. Diana loved her children; they were her life.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy and her four children, Symantha White, Jamestown, Sarah White, Jamestown, Emma Britton, Greenville, and Nathanial McGrath, Greenville; her parents, Charlene Whiteman of Sharon and George “Terry” Haynes of Greenville; five sisters, Nena Cleveland of Greenville, Bobbie Jo Haynes of Edinburg, Amber Mayes of Sharon, Diana Haynes of Greenville and Annabelle Haynes of Jefferson, OH; brothers in law, Branden Britton of Hadley, Sean Britton and his girlfriend Katie Bollard of Greenville; Kristina Mabus of OH; her mother and father in law, Dave and Tracey Mabus of Hadley and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her twin children, Olivia Jean and Jonathan Adam Mayes-White; grandparents, Clyde and Sarah Mayes; her stepmother, Carla Haynes; and grandmother, Darleene Ours.
A joint funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Rev. Daniel C. Miller, pastor of the Westford United Methodist Church officiating. She will be laid to rest with her twin children at the South Shenango Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 5, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
