David Heeter

David A Heeter, 77, of Meadville, PA, died on Sept 26 , 2020 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA., after a short illness.

Born on September 19, 1943 in Oil City, PA, David was a son of the late Emery and Cornelia Rodgers Heeter.

David attended school in Oil City, then continued on to work at Brody’s then later at the Meadville Forging. He worked as a fork truck driver at Meadville Forging and retired after 34 years. He was an avid musician, playing guitar, composing and singing all of his life. He was also a prolific artist and enjoyed hunting in his younger years.

David is survived by his wife Leona Heeter, sons David A (Tanci) Heeter II and Dean A (Louisa) Heeter. Three stepchildren, Emily S. (Sterling) Caler, Katie S. Rhoades, and Jonathan L. Rhoades. He is also survived by a sister Pat (Ron) Hilton of Plumer, PA and by 11 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his Parents, and by two brothers, Donald (Donna Jean) Heeter of Venus, PA and Richard (Pat) Heeter of Rouseville, PA and by a sister Joan Bowman of Chicago, IL.
