Darlene Blue Obituary

Darlene S. Blue, formerly of Transfer passed away at 8:25 pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the Embassy of Park Ave, Meadville.  She was 76.

Darlene was born in Greenville on August 15, 1944 a daughter of the late Elmer F. and Ida D. (Kitch) Hill.  She was a homemaker, who enjoyed shopping, canning gardening and tending to her flower beds.  In her younger years she enjoyed ceramics and crafts.

She is survived by two daughters, Jody Matthews and her boyfriend, Kurt Johnson, Franklin and Judy Weaver and her husband Owen, Atlantic.; a brother, Orville “Buddy” Hill, FL; two sisters, Phyllis Eastlick, Greenville and Nellie Belistine, Greenvlle; 7 grandchildren, Robert Hanna and his wife Nikki, Jonathan Hanna and his girlfriend Katie, Daniel Lenkner and his wife Amanda, Richard Williams and his wife Mallerie, Lori Johnson and her husband Eric, Michelle Unger and her fiancé Brian and Katie Thomeier and her husband Dan and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Irene Tiner and a brother Irvin Hill.

At the request of Darlene no services are being held,  She will be laid to rest at the Shenango Valley Cemetery following cremation.  Arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of the Robert L.
