Daniel J. Henry, Greenville, Salem Twp. passed away at 2:33 pm on Thursday, August 1, 2024 , at the St. Elizebeth Health Center, Youngstown. He was 52.
He was born in Sharon on May 3, 1972, the son of Glenn E. and Linda M. (Matters) Henry. Danny was employed by Andrews Logistics, LP, as an over-the-road truck driver. He loved the outdoors and hunting and enjoyed all things racing, from NASCAR and dirt track racing to operating RC cars. A favorite pastime was operating and flying his drone.
He is survived by his wife Michele whom he married on October 18, 2020, his children, Elizabeth (Cody) Clayton, Butler, Richard (Dominique) Mellinger, Oceanside, CA and Daniel Mellinger, Warren, OH; his parents, Glenn and Linda Henry, Greenville; a sister, Linda J. (Thomas) Calawa, Greenville; three brothers, James (Marty) Henry, Greenville, Gary (Kathy) Henry, Clearfield, KY and Brad (Shelly) Henry, Greenville. Seven grandchildren, Conner Clayton, Keegan Clayton, Brandon Clayton, Bentley Mellinger, Hunter Mellinger, Racheal Mellinger and Kamdyn Mellinger.
The family will be privately honoring Danny's life.
Arrangements are entrusted to Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
