Crystal Hovis Obituary
Crystal J. Hovis, Greenville passed away early Saturday morning, December 23, 2023 at the UPMC Horizon Greenville. She was 40.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 5, 1983, a daughter of Robert and Rachel (Carroll) Veccia. She had been previously employed by White Cliff Nursing Home as a CNA.
She is survived by her children, Jonathan Veccia, Greenville, Paul Shreve, Greenville, Destany Hovis, Greenville, Kalista Hovis, Portersville and Alaura Hovis, Portersville; her mother, Rachel Cohen, FL; two sisters, Danielle Veccia, ND and Katrina Veccia, Port St. Lucie, FL; a brother, Robert Veccia, Orlando, FL and two grandchildren, Silas Hays and Memphis Frankenberry.
She was preceded in death by her father, her brother, Phillip Cohen and two infant children.
The family will be privately honoring the life of Crystal with no services scheduled.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
