Clifton E. Williams, age 75, of Atlantic (Greenwood Twp.), formerly of Hadley, passed away peacefully at the Crawford Care Center in Saegertown, on the morning of Tuesday, October 14, 2025, following a brief illness. Born into a world that would challenge him from an early age, Cliff was a man who epitomized resilience and independence, carving out a life rich with simple joys and meaningful work.
Raised by his foster parents, Roy and Doris Young, from the age of 21, Cliff learned the value of hard work and the satisfaction of a job well done. Having worked for the former Ohio Hardwood and Albert Chenoweth baling hay. He was also employed by the Shook Dairy Farms, Hadley. He enjoyed taking care of the lawn and just simply being able to tinker around with various projects.
During his stay at the Crawford Care Center, Cliff discovered a new passion for coloring, which he used to spread joy among the other residents and the facility staff. His artistic gifts, though a quiet part of his life, became a source of happiness and connection in his final days, leaving behind a legacy of colorful memories for those he touched
Clifton is lovingly remembered by his sister, Linda L. Hall of Atlantic; his two brothers, Rev. Larry E. (Ella) Young of Texas, and Donald (Dianna) Young of Virginia; and a special niece, Traci (Ed) Lippert of Meadville.
He was preceded in death by his foster parents, Roy and Doris Young.
Cliff will be laid to rest at the Sheakleyville Cemetery. Though no services are being held, his memory will be honored by the lives he's touched.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., at 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
