Claudia S. Sullivan, of Sheakleyville, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday afternoon, February 12, 2026. She was 73.
Born in Greenville on June 18, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Samuel B. Clark and Donna Mae (Allen) Clark. On May 5, 1973, she married her husband of 52 years, Lonnie S. Sullivan, who survives.
Claudia devoted 38 years of service to the United States Postal Service. She began her career at the Hadley Post Office and later served as Postmaster of the Sheakleyville Post Office, from which she retired. She was a faithful and active member of New Beginnings Christian Church in Greenville.
Claudia found great joy in tending to her beautiful floral gardens and took special pride in her flowers. She enjoyed painting and antiquing, particularly collecting Depression-era glassware. She also cherished simple pleasures—watching butterflies and feeding the birds.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Lonnie; three children, Kahle B. (Stacy) Sullivan of Fredericksburg, VA, Jesse A. Sullivan of Sheakleyville, and Sari S. (Greg) Hall of Pittsburgh; three sisters, Dianne (Chuck) Smith of Sigel, Kathie (Roger) Dale of Oil City, and Lauretta (Mark) Fisher of Greenville; and six grandchildren, Gavin Sullivan, Zoey Sullivan, Everett Hall, Rowan Hall, Karington Sullivan, and Hayden Sullivan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Clark.
The funeral service celebrating Claudia’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville, with Pastor Andy Henry of New Beginnings Christian Church officiating. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
