Carol A, Kolcun, Hadley (deer Creek Twp.) passed away early Saturday morning, October 22, 2022, at the UPMC, Jameson following a period of declining health. She was 79.
Carol was born in McKeesport on December 9, 1942, a daughter of the late Martin A. and Anna D. (Wankulitz) Gall. She had been married to Gregory John Bogden who preceded her in death on May 26, 2017. In her younger years, Carol had been a cosmetologist and after relocating to the Hadley area she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Out Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Cochranton.
She is survived by two sons, Andrew (Heidi) Kolcun, Cochranton, and Kevin (Lori) Kolcun, Bend, Oregon; two brothers, James M. Gall, Cochranton, and Richard A. (Aleta) Gall, Hadley; 4 grandchildren, Zachary, Josh, Jacob and Abbigail and a great-granddaughter, Emma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gregory Bogden, and a brother, Martin J. Gall.
Respecting the wishes of Carol, there will be no services scheduled and she will be laid to rest at the Sheakleyville Cemetery with private family services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
