Carol Greene Obituary

Carol Brest Greene of Main St., Greenville, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024, at home from natural causes. She was 62.

Carol was born in Sharon on May 15, 1962 and grew up on the family farm, a daughter of Frank and Dolly (Reed) Brest. She was a 1980 graduate of Commodore Perry High School. In the mid eighties she relocated to Florida where she called home until 2017.

While in Florida, Carol waitressed and was a very experienced heavy equipment operator and later a wildlife trapper and rehabilitator. She rescued and cared for many domestic and wild animals.

She is survived by a daughter Hannah (Eli) Greene, a brother Wayne (Lynn) Brest, two sisters, Robin McDonald and Joanne (John) Kristyak, nieces, nephews and her long-time best friend, Tami Pearce.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Josh Kristyak.
