Carol Daly Obituary

Carol A. Daly, Jamestown passed away Saturday evening, August 13, 2022, at the Villa’s at St. Paul’s Senior Living Center, Greenville. She was 78.

She was born in Greenville on May 31, 1944, a daughter of the late Robert and Artise (Sloan) Bailey. She had been married to Robert J. Daly who preceded her in death in 2011. Carol had been a bar tender at several area establishments until becoming disabled. She was a member of the Jamestown VFW Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed playing bingo and the lottery.

She is survived by her son, Thomas C. (Julie) Daly, Jamestown; a sister, Alice (Kenneth) Knight, Sharon; a brother, Robert Bailey, Brookfield, OH; a granddaughter, Abbie (Derek) Claycomb, Mercer; a grandson, Ben Davis, Hermitage, a great grandson, Dakota Claycomb and a great granddaughter soon to be born.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 41 years, Robert.

Respecting the wishes of Carol, no services are scheduled.
