Bruce Whitmore, Jr. Obituary

Bruce A. Whitmore, Jr. Cochranton (Greenwood Twp.) passed away of natural causes at his residence on Saturday, February 15, 2020.  He was 50.

He was born in Pittsburgh, on April 6, 1969 a son of David and Linda (Klingensmith) Joncas.  On May 31, 2000 he married the love of his life, the former Christina Birtciel who survives.  Bruce had been employed as a logger until his having become injured.    He enjoyed cooking for his family and had a love for anything Ford and would often be found working on his Ford truck and also enjoyed amassing a collection of ford trucks and parts.  He had a special place in his heart for Grandma Z.

He is survived by his wife Christina; two sons, Tyler Terrill and his wife Laretta of Colorado and Joey Whitmore and his girlfriend Lynda Hannum, Cochranton; a daughter, Brianna Parks, Linesville. his mother and stepfather, Joe and Linda Furgiuele, Harmonsburg; his mother in law, Desiree Vaughn, Cochranton; a brother, Joe Furgiuele, Harmonsburg; 4 sisters, Sabrina Menzietti, Cooperstown, Sylvia Furgiuele, Meadville, Maria Wilcox and her husband Robert, Guys Mills and Virginia Rossey and her husband Brad, Harmonsburg; a very special granddaughter, Taylor Joy Terrill.

He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Bruce A. Whitmore, Sr. and Beverly M. (Hays) McCord, his father, David Joncas; a sister, Karen Clayson; grandparents, Joe and Pat Furgiuele and Florence Singer and his father in law, Ralph Vaughn.

The family will be Celebrating Bruce’s life at a later date.
