Bowen James Mabus-Sturgin, the infant son of Jarrod Sturgin and Kristina Mabus, Hadley, passed away Friday afternoon, July 19, 2024, at the UPMC – Children’s Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was one month and five days old.
He was born on June 14, 2024, in Pittsburgh.
He is survived by his parents, Jarrod Sturgin, Clarks Mill, and Kristina Mabus, Hadley, his maternal grandparents, David and Tracey Mabus, Hadley, his paternal grandparents, Tracy and Jollene Sturgin, Clarks Mills, his great grandmother, Janet Hetrick, Hadley and great step-grandfather, Donald Cochran, Cochranton, and paternal greatgrandparents, Tom and Diane Sturgin, Clarks Mills.4 uncles, Sean Britton and his fiancé Katie Bollard, Greenville, Timothy Britton, Hadley, Branden Britton, Hadley and Lucas Sturgin, Wattsburg.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Clarence Hetrick, Eileen Cochran, David Mabus, Donald, and Eva Sturgin and Glendora Trowbridge; an Aunt, Dianna Britton and two cousins, Jonathan and Olivia Mayes.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Sheakleyville Cemetery, with Pastor Henry Brock of the Calvary Fellowship Chapel officiating.
