Bonnie M. Hillman, Cochranton, (Greenwood Twp.) passed away Monday evening, Sept. 4, 2023, in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. She was 72.
She was born in Meadville on October 10, 1950, a daughter of the late Charles F. and Thelma L. (Williams) White. On September 11, 1971, she married Wayne E. Hillman who survives. Mrs. Hillman had been employed through the years at the former American Viscose Corporation, Meadville, the former Dahlkemper Store, Pages Tire and Auto Supply, and Hafer Trucking. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, a life member of the Meadville VFW Post, and a former member of Vernon Central Hose Company. In her later years, she enjoyed spending the winter months with her husband at their home in Lakeland, Florida. Bonnie enjoyed her trips to the casinos, playing bingo, working with crafts, and going to garage sales. She had been a former Girl Scout leader and served as a room Mom for her children as they went through their elementary school years. Above all, Bonnie loved her family and enjoyed the moments she could be with her grandchildren and simply just be able to spoil her two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Wayne she is survived by her children, Tawnya (Cliff) Stover, Cochranton, Michael (Lori) Hillman, Hermitage and Matthew (Julie) Hillman, Saegertown; her grandchildren, Kaylie (Ruben) Shellhouse, Cochranton, Kendrah Hillman and her fiancé, Ricky Rogers, Hermitage, Kerah Hillman, Hermitage, Jayda Hillman, Saegertown, Christopher(Brittany) Stover, Grove City, Carley (Destinee) Stover, GA., Mykenzie Connally, Pittsburgh, Levi Connally, Saegertown, Paige Link, FL and Raya Jones, Transfer; 2 great-grandchildren, Leviey and Laniey Shellhouse; a sister in law, Mary K. White, Cochranton and a brother in law, Rob (Annette) Hillman, Conneaut Lake and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, William V. White, and Charles L. White.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Rev. Christine Rogan officiating. Bonnie will be laid to rest at the Williams Cemetery. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and are invited to share memories and condolences with the family at www.snyderfh.com
