Artie Dyjak Obituary

Artie Jean Dyjak, Greenville, passed away Saturday evening, December 7, 2024, in the comfort of her home. She was 70.

She was born on August 5, 1954, the daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Strosser) Pifer.  On March 4, 2004, she married James Dyjak, who survives.  Artie was a homemaker and, in her early years, attended the Greenville Salvation Army; she currently was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church in Greenville.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her most joyful moments were spent cradling her grandbabies and cuddling with her adored fur babies, whose presence brought her immense comfort and happiness. Artie was a staunch fan and follower of the Pittsburgh Steelers; Christmas held a special place in Artie's heart, as it was her favorite time of the year.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Randy Allen Heath, Jr., Mercer; two very special people in her life, whom she considered to be her children, Rand Anderson, CO., and Maranda Allison, Greenville; two step-siblings, Sue Dorsey and Donald Huff, both of Ohio; and two very special grandchildren, Ryder and Phoenyz Heath. She also has many nieces, nephews, and a cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, Shirley Hobson, Helen Thompson, and Margaret Holler, and a stepsister, Debbie Reddick.

Respecting Artie’s wishes, the family will honor her life privately.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
