Adene Catherine (Farrah) Hopkins, Jamestown (Greene Twp.) passed away peacefully on May 3rd 2020 at Avalon Springs Place, Mercer. She was 96 years old.
Adene Okey born December 1st 1923 in La Mesa, California to the late Adrian and Kate Okey. She had worked for Pacific Bell for 33 years before retirement. She loved being the center of attention, enjoyed parties at the beach, drinking champagne, and dancing. Adene will be missed by her many friends and family.
Adene is survived by her daughter Jerri Farrah – Wilds and grandchildren Brandon Stidum, Ryan Stidum, Conlin Wilds, Shane Farrah, Zavier Farrah, and Willow Farrah. She has 5 great grandchildren: Dominic, Caleb, Xavier, Grayson, and Kai.
Adene was preceded in death by her first husband Vern Farrah, and second husband Ed Hopkins along with daughter Terri Lynn Farrah and son Vern Stephen Farrah.
Adene will be laid to rest in California with family services to be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of the Robert L.
