Timothy Scriven Obituary

Timothy D. Scriven, Greenville (Salem Twp.) passed away Saturday afternoon, November 2, 2019 at the UPMC, Hamot, Erie following a brief illness.  He was 63.

He was born in Geneva, Crawford County on May 21, 1956 a son of the late Richard E and Betty J. (Perry) Scriven.  On August 29, 1988 he married the former Rhonda L. Cook who survives.    Tim was a graduate of Commodore Perry High School and went onto to work for R.D. Werner Company in 1978 and subsequently remained at the same location working for Signature Aluminum and Ilsco Extrusions.  He was presently employed with with Ilsco Extrusions.  Tim was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years; two sons, Travis Scriven, Greenville and Thomas (TR) Kelley, Transfer; a daughter, Karen Shelatree, Sharon; 4 brothers, Richard E. Scriven, Transfer, Daniel L. Scriven and his wife Patty, Atlantic, Frederick C. Scriven and his wife Janette, Hadley and Stanley (Robbie) L. Scriven, Greenville; 3 sisters, Judith S. Griffiths, West Middlesex, Kathleen D. Campbell and her husband Jerry, Leavenworth, Kansas and Pamela L. Wright, Sharon; 4 grandchildren, Lucas Scriven, Chris, Joseph and Kolton Shelatree

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Saundra D. Catalano

Respecting the wishes of Tim, the family will be privately honoring and remembering his life.  Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
