Paul Leroy Jewell

Paul Leroy Jewell, Fairview Twp., Fredonia passed away at his residence of natural causes on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.  He was 56.

Born in Grove City on July 8, 1961, a son of the late George William and Mildred Marie (Blair) Jewell. He was a 1979 graduate of Lakeview High School.  He enjoyed being able to help his family and friends and appreciated their visits.  Paul was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and enjoyed the companionship of his cat.

He is survived by an uncle, Nelson and Fran Blair of Greenville, an aunt, Mae Garner of Mercer; two sister in laws, Betty Jewell, Fredonia and Vicki Jewell, Greenville.  Several nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother Jimmy, two brothers, Robert Jewell and Richard Jewell and a sister, Helen Hedglin.

Family and friends will be received at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 169 Second Street, Fredonia on Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm  with a Celebration of Paul’s life to follow at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Eric Peters, pastor of the Fredonia Presbyterian Church officiating.  Paul will be laid to rest at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake.
