Marjorie A. Wallace, Sandy Creek Twp., Hadley passed away at 4:05 am on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Rolling Field Elder Care Community, Conneautville. She was 84.
Marjorie was born in Shermansville, Crawford County on June 21, 1934 a daughter of the late Marshall and Sarah (Wescott) Gehr. Following her graduation from the Conneaut Lake High School she married Lloyd M. Wallace on July 28, 1951 and he preceded her in death on March 11, 2009. Marjorie was a homemaker and had been employed by Turner Bus, Hadley for many years.
She is survived by a son, Marvin Wallace, Hadley; two daughters, Andrea Sires and her husband James, Pomona Park, FL. and Deanna Schrader and her husband Richard, Ashboro, N.C.; two brothers, Wayne (Evelyn) Gehr, Jamestown and Melvin Gehr, Erie; three sisters, Eleanor Hart, Cochranton, Dorothy Wheeling, Cochranton and Evelyn (Herschel) Spencer, Orangeburg, SC.; 4 grandchildren, Vicki (Brian) Swartzbeck, Pomona Park, Fl., Alyssa Schrader, Leeds, England, Alex Schrader, US Air Force, Joint Base Lewis –McChord, WA. and Wayne Wallace, Ft. Collins, CO. and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Thelma Simpson and a grandson James E. Sires, Jr.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 6:45 pm. Marjorie will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Sheakleyville Cemetery.
