Mae L. Garner formerly of Fredonia passed away Wednesday evening, December 5, 2018 at the Avalon Springs, Mercer. She was 85.
Mae was born in Otter Creek Twp. on February 6, 1933 a daughter of the late Robert E. and Myrtle (Myers Blair) Wasser. Mae had been married to Jake Harden who preceded her in death and then married Donald Garner who also had preceded her in death. She had worked as a waitress in several of the local restaurants over the years. She was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Greenville.
She is survived by a brother, Nelson Blair and his wife Frances of Greenville and several nieces and nephews.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; 3 sons, Charles Harden, Ronald Harden and Robert Harden; 2 brothers, James Wasser and Clifford Wasser; 2 sisters, Betty Clark Bear and Mildred Jewell Haggerty.
The funeral and committal service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 169 Second Street, Fredonia with Rev. Eric M. Peters, pastor of the Fredonia Presbyterian Church officiating. The interment will follow at the Delaware Cemetery.
