Leora Mae (Sharrer) Park

Leora Mae Park, Otter Creek Twp., Greenville passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family Thursday evening, July 4, 2019.  She was 81.

She was born in Armstrong County on April 27, 1938 a daughter of the late William and Garnet (Pollard) Sharrer.  On June 18, 1960 she married Ronald L. Park who preceded her in death on November 5, 2008. 

Leora was a homemaker and  attended the Fredonia Presbyterian Church, she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fredonia American Legion Post # 919 and the Greenville VFW Post # 3374.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Rhonda (Paul)  Zupen, Homosassa Springs, Florida and Melanie (Brian) Kasbee , Greenville; 3 sons, Todd (Bonnie Lee) Park, Joppa, MD, Ronald (Jamie) Park, Greenville  and Joe Park, Greenville; a step brother, Bill (Marty) Stake, Greenup, KY; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and a son Jeffrey M. Park.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 169 Second Street, Fredonia with Rev. Eric M. Peters officiating.  The interment will follow at the Millbank Cemetery, Fredonia.  Family and friends may call on Sunday (7/7/19) at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
