Kimberly Stritzinger Obituary

Kimberly A. Stritzinger, Cochranton (Greenwood Twp.) passed away at her residence on Monday evening, April 9, 2018 following a courageous battle with cancer.  She was 54.

She was born in Meadville on October 19, 1963 a daughter of Herbert and Shirley Jean (Wood) Hunt. On August 26, 1998 she married James Stritzinger, Jr.  She had been employed as a CNA at the Crawford County Care Center. Kim was a member of the Reash Church where she had a passion and love for missions and was active with the church mission group. She had participated in many Walk’s for Life and enjoyed camping, baking and bird watching.  Her greatest joy came from being involved in the many varied activities of her grandchildren, who were her world.

In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by her mother, Shirley O’Neil, Meadville with whom Kimberly always enjoyed spending time with doing crossword puzzles and playing yatzi. Two sons, Chris Miller and his wife Jessica of Venango, Alvin Miller, Jr.  and his wife Tricia of Meadville; 3 daughters, Jessica Heckman and her husband Joshua of Linesville, Cheri Caldwell of Cochranton and Jenna Herbstreit of Houston, Texas; Two sisters, Twila Mack and her husband Homer of Meadville and Tammy Cline and her husband Ricky of Atlantic, two brothers, Brian Hunt of Meadville and Jeffrey Hunt and his wife Donna of Meadville.  13 grandchildren, Aaron Miller, Hannah Miller, Alexander Hauf, Emily Heckman, Steven Heckman, Ayden Miller, Jordan Miller, Kylee Miller, Isaiah Gilchrist, Isabelle Gilchrist, Calysta Moser, Caisen Coffman and Alexis Herbstreit.

She was preceded in death by her father, her step father Albert O’Neil who played a significant part in Kimberly’s life, a sister, Pamela and a brother Herbert Hunt, Jr.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 3:00 pm at the Reash Church, 3556 Reash Church Road, Cochranton, with Pastor Randy Keeling officiating.  Kim will be laid to rest at the Geneva Memorial Cemetery.  Arrangements have ben entrusted to the Robert L.
