Esther M. (Rodemoyer) Taylor

Esther M. Taylor, Mercer passed away at 6:35 am on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the Grove City Medical Center. She was 93.

She was born in Delaware Twp. on January 9, 1926 a daughter of the late John and Mayme (Frantz) Rodemoyer.  On January 18, 1947 Esther  married Alfred C. Taylor who preceded her in death on July 17, 1989.  During WW II, Esther had worked at the former Sharon Steel and then became a homemaker and mother.  She was a long time member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church, Mercer where she had been a Deacon.  She enjoyed participating in the Brandy Springers Fun Club.

Esther is survived by a son, Robert Taylor and his wife Wendy of Mercer; a daughter, Melanie Ciarrocca, Niagara Falls, Canada; a sister, Helen Rodgers, Georgia; two brothers, Russell Rodemoyer, Mercer and Howard Rodemoyer, Georgia; two grandchildren, Greg Sines, Mercer and Michelle Sines, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred; a daughter, Sherry Sines and 11 brothers and sisters.

Resecting the wishes of Esther, the family will be honoring and celebrating her life privately, she will be interred next to her husband, Alfred at the Delaware Cemetery. Fredonia.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1689 Second Street, Fredonia.
