Edward M. Hawkins, Hubbard, OH. formerly of Greenville passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at his residence on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019. He was 55.
Ed was born in Greenville on January 29, 1964 a son of the late Charles C. and Bonita (McClelland) Hawkins, Sr. He had been trained as an electrician and had been employed by City Concrete, Youngstown for many years as a loader. Eddie possessed a strong work ethic and enjoyed fixing things that were broken. He enjoyed his ATV and riding his motorcycle and was all about all things FORD. He loved animals and especially had enjoyed the loyalty and companionship of his dog ‘Amy”.
He is survived by his daughter, Desiree Weaver and her husband Charles, Hermitage; a sister Barbara E. Hawkins and her wife Pam and their son David, Philadelphia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Bonita Hawkins; his grandparents, Ephriam and Ethel Hawkins and Fred and Bonnie McClelland; three brothers, Steven M Hawkins and James A. Hawkins and Charles M. Hawkins, Jr.; two cousins, Raymond C. Packard and David C. Packard.
The funeral and committal service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 169 Second Street, Fredonia with Jeremy McClain, pastor of the Harvest Baptist Church, Greenville officiating. The interment will follow at the Millbank Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm time of service and are invited to share memories and condolences with the family online at snyderfh.com.
