Dewey "Max" W. Jose

Dewey “Max” Jose, Orangeville Road,  West Salem Twp., Greenville passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at his residence.  He was 76.

He was born in Uniontown, Pa. on July 8, 1943 a son of the late John Russell and Marie (Smitley) Jose.  Following his high school graduation he had enlisted and served proudly with the US Navy.  He had been employed by National Castings, Farrell and at the Nittany Coatings, Greenville.

Max is survived by two daughters, Pamela Parcetich and her husband Carl, Fredonia and Dawn Crews, State College; a brother John Jose, Dunbar and three grandchildren, Zeb, Hannah and Carley.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Honoring the wishes of Max, the family will be privately celebrating and remembering his life.  Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
