Andrew A. Helmuth, Jr., New Lebanon joyfully entered the presence of his Savior on Friday morning, August 2, 2019 in the comfort of his home. He was 80.
Andrew was born in Hartville, Ohio on May 24, 1939 a son of the late Andrew and Nettie (Schlabach) Helmuth. He was an ordained minister of Pleasantview Mennonite Church in Cochranton for 46 years and also enjoyed farming the family farm in New Lebanon
He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 54 years, Elsie Troyer and his presence sons, Eric (Laura Nofsker) Helmuth, Sandy Lake, Titus (Diane) McFetridge) Helmuth, Utica and John Helmuth of Sandy Lake. He also is survived by a grandson, Andrew Helmuth, son of Eric and Laura Helmuth.
He will also be fondly remembered by his two sisters and one brother, Wilma (Wallace) Troyer, Emma Helmuth and Ervin Helmuth.
In death Andrew was jubilantly reunited with his parents, Andrew and Nettie Helmuth, siblings, Orva Helmuth and Barbara (Walter) Byler.
Family and friends may call on Monday, August 5, 2019 at the Pleasantview Conservative Mennonite Church, County Line Road, Cochranton from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be at the church on Tuesday at 10:00 am. With John Wengerd officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Pleasantview Conservative Mennonite Cemetery.
