Rebecca Gayle (Hovis) Sicilian

Rebecca Gayle Sicilian, Greenville, Salem Twp. passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home with her family by her side early Wednesday morning, April 3, 2024.  She was 61.

She was born on July 31, 1962, the daughter of Richard C. and Rebecca (Wise) Hovis, Sr.

Gayle as she had been known to her family and friends, had been employed as an LPN at the former Gilmore’s White Cliff and later at the Grove of Greenville retiring in 2019 after 40 years of service.  She enjoyed reading books and always appreciated the time she was able to be with her family and friends.  Gayle enjoyed the companionship of her dogs, Jackie and Pixie.

She is survived by her mother, Rebecca Hovis, Greenville; her son, Anthony (Shelbie) Sicilian, Hadley; two brothers, Richard C. Hovis, Jr. and his girlfriend Andrea Burns, Greenville and Samuel C. Hovis, Transfer.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Cremation was chosen as disposition and the family will be privately honoring the life of Gayle.
