Raymond Redfoot Obituary

Raymond "Pinky" F. Redfoot, Mercer passed away early Monday morning, April 1, 2024, at the AHN, Grove City.  He was 68.

Raymond was born in Grove City on November 9, 1955, a son of the late Raymond Carl and Edna Lucille (Fox) Redfoot.  He was a 1974 graduate of Reynolds High School and went on to enlist and served honorably with the US Navy.  He had been employed as a counselor at George Jr. Republic and also had been employed at Mercer Auto Wrecking.  He was a member of the Mercer VFW Post # 6335 and the Mercer American Legion Post # 159. Raymond was an avid follower of the Cleveland Browns and is remembered as a loving son, brother, and uncle who always enjoyed being the agitator and being able to make people laugh.

He is survived by his two sisters, Carol Reynolds, Grand Junction, CO., and Ronda Rayman, Greenville; 2 nieces and a nephew; several aunts and uncles and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial gathering and a dinner will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Mercer VFW Post # 6335, 432 S. Erie Street, Mercer.  In August the family will be holding an additional gathering when Raymond will be interred at the Millbank Cemetery, Fredonia at a date and location to be announced.
