William K. “Hogie” Hogenmiller. Otter Creek Twp., Greenville passed away at his residence of natural causes on Saturday morning, August 20, 2016.  He was 77

He was born in Kittanning, PA on Jan. 4, 1939 a son of the late Joseph and Bessie (Smith) Hogenmiller.

“Hogie” as he was known to his family and friends, was a welder with the International Brotherhood of Boilermaker having retired in 1998.  He had served with the U.S. Army.

He is survived by two sons, Wayne Hogenmiller and Waylon Hogenmiller both of Jamestown; 3 grandchildren, Abby Hogenmiller, Laila Hogenmiller and Whitney Hogenmiller; 2 sisters, Betty Taranto of Transfer and Connie Jo Pyatt of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Hogenmiller and Bessie Smith Hogenmiller Lemmon; 3 brothers, Joseph Hogenmiller, Jr., Richard Hogenmiller and Ronne Hogenmiller; 2 sisters, Marie Dowling and Joanne Hogenmiller.

At the request of Mr. Hogenmiller, there will be no services held, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.  Online memories and condolences may be shared with the family at snyferfh.com
