Laura M. Arnold, Meadville passed away at 11:45 am on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the St. Vincent Health Center, Erie. She was 67.
She was born in Ravenna, Ohio on November 21, 1948 a daughter of the late Dan E. and Amanda Mae (Mast) Miller. Laura had been self employed cleaning homes. She was a devoted Christian who enjoyed her Christian fellowship with other women. She enjoyed her family and friends and her grandchildren were her world. She is remembered as being a grandmother to many outside the family circle. She loved nature and especially flowers. She was a member of the St. Johns Community Church, Meadville.
She is survived by 2 sons, Paul Bender and his wife Lori of Cochranton and Chris Arnold of Waverly, TN.; a daughter, Marsha Snell and her husband Bobby of Dawson Springs, KY. 12 grandchildren, Jonathan Snell, Kristina Roberts, Matthew Snell, Judith Bender, Jessica Bender, Jordan Bender, Joanna Bender, Joshua Bender, Justin Bender, Jelyn Meinert, Jaleece Meinert and Jacey Meinert. 7 sisters, Barbara Reynolds and her husband Gene of Lee, Fl., Gertrude Miller of Meadville, Mary Peck and her husband Joe of Holladay, Tn, Kathy Miller of Meadville, Dorothy Wagler and her husband Gerald of Heron, Mt, Miriam Miller of Heron, Mt., Marion Delp and her husband Art of Lavaca, Ar; 3 brothers, Dan Miller and his wife Barbara of Russellville, Ky, Mahlon Miller and his wife Betty of Meadville and Allen Miller and his wife Loretta of Seracy, Ar.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 sisters, Emma Miller, \Nancy Miller and Amanda Miller.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Pleasantview Conservative Mennonite Church, County Line Road, Cochranton with Rev. Greg Giles, pastor of the St. Johns Community Church officiating. The interment and committal service will follow at the Maple Grove Amish Mennonite Cemetery.
