Benjamin A. Swogger

Benjamin Swogger, age 23 of District Road, Greenville, (Delaware Twp.) passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017.

Benjamin was born in Meadville on December 23, 1993 to Robert P. Swogger and Darlene (Nelson) Shearer. He worked at Adams Manufacturing, Portersville, doing injection molding. When he wasn’t working, Ben enjoyed  farming, playing the guitar, fishing and deer hunting.

He is survived by his parents, Darlene and husband Daniel Shearer, of Greenville and Robert Swogger and friend Julie Daly, of Sandy Lake, a sister, Marcy Swogger of Sandy Lake, a brother, Shawn Swogger and wife Marie, of Cochranton, his grandmother, Gladys (Gill) Swogger,of Pleasantville and two nephews, Kamdyn Bittle and Wyatt Swogger.

Benjamin was preceded in death by grandparents, Robert Q. Swogger, and John and Julia (Foust) Nelson.

Funeral and committal service will be held Monday, March 6, at 6:00 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home, Ltd., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Pastor. Randy Keeling officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00-6:00 pm. Online condolences may be posted at snyderfh.com.

 The family has suggested that memorial contributions can be sent to the Reash Community Church Building Fund in memory of Benjamin.
